Walker Tape Great White Review

Made by The Walker Tape Company, Walker Tape states that Great White is their best and longest holding water based adhesive. It’s a copolymer adhesive that is strong, and dries clear, which will give your customers the confidence they need.

It’s very easy to work with and not stringy, so you can save time in the salon. It is non-flammable so it saves you on shipping costs. Plus, the formula is bacteria resistant allowing the adhesive to stay fresher for longer. Think of it as a great alternative to Ultra Hold.

Hold

Maximum wear (3-5+ weeks) adhesives are the longest lasting adhesives we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. Because they’re usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.

Available Sizes

  • Twist Top 1.4 oz
  • Brush-on 3.4 oz
  • Twist Top 8 oz
  • Pint (16 oz)

How To Apply

Make sure client’s scalp is clean and oil free. Poly systems: Using a makeup sponge, apply thin even coats of Great White to unit. Mesh Units: Using a makeup sponge, apply thin even coats of Great White to scalp. Blow dry until tacky between coats. Next, press the hair system onto the skin and firmly hold for 10 seconds. Most importantly: Do not swim, workout, or shampoo for at least 24 hours.
