Updates from Model Lace Wigs and Hair on COVID-19
A Message from Model Lace Wigs and Hair
The safety and well-being of our customers and staff is our top priority at Model Lace Wigs and Hair. To that end, I want to take the time to share how we are addressing the rising concerns regarding COVID-19.
On March 17, 2020, Nevada Governor Sisolak stated, “I have spoken with Nevada’s top medical experts to get their assessment of our current situation and most responsible next steps,” Gov. Sisolak said. “They have advised that the most effective course of action is to direct all Nevadans to stay home and for all nonessential businesses to close to the public for 30 days.”
We are closely monitoring the situation and are following the latest guidelines from the World Health Organization, U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention and other agencies. Out of an abundance of caution, we are taking all the necessary steps to provide a safe and healthy work environment, including implementing additional protective measures across our warehouse and office.
In addition to our standard health procedures, these further measures include:
- Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all areas, with consistent reminders sent to our office and warehouses throughout the workday
- Distributing hand sanitizers in our office while continuing to remind staff to wash their hands regularly
- Encouraging staff to report any illnesses they are experiencing and to stay at home if they are sick
Model Lace Wigs and Hair is operating without live customer service staff at least until June 1, 2020. We will continue to provide customer service through email.
Also note: All orders will have a shipping delay.
Our team will closely follow the latest updates to make timely decisions and take action where needed. We know this is a difficult and fluid situation, but we want you to know that we are here for you. We will do everything we can to help our friends, customers and community stay safe.
